Hi All,

I am facing one issue for last few days.

I have developed on RDF and it is running fine in all the phases.

When ever any change happened in the DATA Model Main query, and if we run the new RDF then the report is not fetching the records and it is showing BLANK for all the records.

I just added the BIND variable condition to the DATA MODEL query, and it happens this way.

I also executed the main RDF before making the changes, then it is running fine with the records.

Pls. help me out in this issue. i hereby attached the outputs before and after the changes made.

Thanks so much in advance,
Siva.S

just check your data query, is it fetching the data ???

There must be some user parameter or report trigger which is resulting in no records.

just check thoroughly.

Hi,
I pulled the query and executed in PL/SQL developer.
It is fetching the records.

And also as i said, if i use my OLD rdf with out change any thing in the query then also it is returning the records.

Pls. find out the attached output after i made the changes in RDF.

i just added one condition say 1=1.

Thanks so much for your response.

what version are you working in???
If you are in 6i, just connect your data model again and then try.

if still problem persists then do one thing, take a back up of your report and then do some hit and trial.
comment the code which you have altered or added , and then run the report. The moment where you get the data, just check/change the condition and your report will surely work.

Hi,

I am using 6i version.

As you suggested, i commented the changes made in the query builder of data model and ran the RDF.

Still the same issue. I am not getting the data.

Even if i used the SPACE also the RDF wont working. If i ran the RDF that is in PROD with out making any changes then it is fetching data fine with out any issues.

Means, if we touch the Query then it is not working.

Thanks so much for your help.

Did you try to compile all (Ctrl + Shift + K) before running the report?
