We are going to upgrade to oracle 11g from 10g. Can the experts suggest me what may the upcoming issues with the working of stored procedures etc in the new environment?

Old procedures work fine & last a long time.

I suggest you test application while running on 11g before enabling in Production status.

about the syntax and code change if we are going to use the procedures, functions in the 11g environment? Hope, i will get a broader idea from you.

You shouldn't need to change any syntax. New functions and procedures become available in 11g but nothing from 10g has been obsoleted.
