Hello,

I got two questions (or maybe three).
Finally, I was able to create a testframework.

Now I want to install apex on my Windows machine. I work with Windows XP (Professional edition). I have running the SQL developer and the database is on a server. Can someone help me to install apex, or does it have to be installed on the server?

My next question is: I want to install apex on a Windows XP pro machine where the server is on that conmputer (Oracle 9i, so also the SQL worksheet). How does I install it on that computer.

Hope that someone can help me, because I don't understand the installation guide very well and that is why I ask the question here.

Many thanks in advance.

Try to understand the installation guide provided in the documentation extracted. It will really be useful . . .
For the second question, you can find answers in this guide.

Regards!

Actually the documentation is not clear. I never seen any installation of this ttype where you are suppose to run scripts manually and you don't know the next step. Did any body install application express 3.1/3.0, or having any easy steps, how to install . i also run ***ins.sql file. But what next . how to check, what to do nothing clear in installation guide

"hope you have installed Oracle XE." No, i don't, I have oracle 10 G database with complete installation with 1 gb ram.
Is this xe (i think xe means OracleŽ Database Express Edition) is must for apex 3.0/3.1 or we can run through 10 g database itself.
